Mesi often hides, a bit like Kanamaharagi, because his mother Gashangi is aggressive. As a result we don’t really know much about his character and what he likes to do for fun.

Sometimes, but only very occasionally, we see Mesi playing with his peers, but generally he sticks with his mum and seems to be becoming quite a little loner.

Mesi was named after a Ranger who died from an illness. Sadly, in October 2008, his wife also passed.
